The Honeymoon

This is going to be my last Blog post for "The Bride" tab. We got back from our honeymoon a few days ago. It was...HOT! And although it wasn't Disney World, we had a good time. If I were to get married again, I would hire a photographer or take a friend to come with us. It was hard to get pictures of the two of us together because no one was there to take the picture. I think I had this perception of the honeymoon being extremely romatantic and relaxing. Don't get me wrong the trip had its romantic moments but Steve are so active and just can't sit still so it naturally turned into a "let's see as much as we can before we have to go home" trip. It is so hard to just lounge around our beautiful hotel room knowing we have so much to see! anyways, enjoy the pictures!

We tried taking this picture by ourselves too when a lady and her 3 year old son stoped and asked if she could take the picture for us. she then explained that she came to Vegas for her honeymoon too and hated that she had no one to take pictures of her and her husband.

Ok so REALLY funny story...We had JUST picked up our blue man group tickets and Steve droped them in the toilet. LOL! they just got a little damp but he was SO pissed and I just couldn't help but laugh! The tickets were fine after we dried them off a little...and then washed our hands...thouroughly.

Rehearsal Dinner

So today was the big rehearsal for tomorrow's wedding. We did things a little untraditional. we actually had our rehearsal dinner before the actual rehearsal. Dinner was at Liberatores Ristorante in Eldersburg. The food was yummy and it was an all around good time. Steve and I finally got to give our wedding party gifts.

Make-Up

Hey eveyone!
The big day is getting close! Just wanted to update you! Yesterday I met with Mrs. Purkey and did a trial run for my make-up. 2 1/2 hours later, we came up with the perfect look! Things are coming together and there is not much left to do! I finally started my summer vacation yesterday and so far I do not know what to do with myself. Emma has been keeping me somewhat busy! Anyways I have to go help my mom deep clean the house for the wedding!

Bachelorette Party

Last night was my bachelorette party! We stayall went to Jen's house, had crabs, played a few silly games and watched Mama Mia which turned into a huge sing-a-long. It was very relaxing and low key.

I'm not sure how this happend but we ended up eating cake on the floor in the living room. It started with everyone having a piece of cake on our own plates and a half hour later we all ended up laying on our stomachs with our forks eating straight from the cake platter. This is my favorite memory of the evening!

17 Days

Hey everyone!
So its getting close and life is full of drama! I figured out the hair situation which is good and my bachelorette party is on Saturday. Tomorrow is the last day of school for students and Friday is the last day for me. I am SO ready for summer vacation. It has been a CRAZY 1st year of teaching! RSVP's are due on Saturday and Sunday is HonFest and the St. Anthony's festival in Fells Point. What a GREAT weekend to kick off summer. THEN I have Emma on Monday and Tuesday! Well anyways, nothing huge to report. Talked to the DJ and we are all set with him. Hope all is well with everyone!

Hey everyone. So last night I got my hair highlighted for the wedding. Today is a trial run to see which hair styles I like best for the big day. I will try to remember to take pics and post of all the styles EXCEPT the one I'm using. 3 weeks!!!!!!!

Gown is home

Went to my final fitting yesterday. It fits great and is so easy to wear! It is finally home and save in my closet. Anyways school is crazy busy right now (my seniors' last day is tomorrow). Hope all is well and I will see you in 30 days!!
